I need
eyes to look at
Just for a little while
I need
words to listen to
Just for a little while
I need someone alive
Just to be with
Just for a little while
I'm loosing now, loosing now
It's hard to keep believing in good will and smiles
they all seem untrue
I'm going to sleep now
Won't you please wake me up
when loneliness is through
This is Daniela Spector's 2009 debut album, which earned her quite some attention in Israel. The reason is quite obvious: Sarah Spector is not only blessed with a great voice, but she's an excellent songwriter and arranger, too. Actually, this releaee doesn't sound like a debut album at all, given its high degree of homogeneity and its opulent sound. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
